SAVE THE BAY - ARTISTS FOR THE BAY

As Miss Mermaid Rhode Island in the Miss Mermaid USA pageant my platform is to educate and get people involved in the conservation efforts to protect all of our bodies of waters. In 2021 I partnered with Save the Bay - Narragansett Bay and was trained as a Beach Cleanup Captain. Save the Bay organizes cleanups and works with local towns and parks departments to ensure the trash collected is disposed of properly, including sharp objects. They provide necessary materials like pick up sticks, bags, gloves ect to their participants and so much more. This is just a small part of what Save the Bay does. I created my charity Save the Bay - Save the Mermaids to help support these efforts, 25% of all sales from this page goes directly to Save the Bay - Narragansett Bay.
