Chatham Lighthouse Ornament - Massachusetts
Nestled near the “elbow” of Cape Cod, Chatham Lighthouse—originally known as Twin Lights—has a storied past and continues to stand as one of Chatham, Massachusetts' most treasured landmarks.
Nowhere on the Cape's shorelines has the sea kept busier at her handiwork than among these storm-bitten sands. Directly to the south of the bluff, Monomoy lies beckoning like the bony finger of death which it has been to countless ships. - Josef Berger, Cape Cod Pilot, 1937.
Each handmade piece features real beach sand, stones and an original photograph encapsulated between layers of resin to create this unique design. It can be hung in a window, on a tree or for any special location.
Each piece is handmade and unique therefore your piece may vary from the listing slightly.
