What is epoxy resin preservation?
Epoxy resin preserves flowers much longer than traditional drying methods, often protecting them for decades or even a lifetime. It acts as a protective, airtight sealant, preventing oxygen and moisture from causing decay, rot, or damage. I use museum quality materials to produce each piece.
Two Styles
I offer two styles of floral preservation in resin. One is pressed, they are thinner and use less resin. This method is more cost efficient to produce; however, the flowers maintain less of their shape and texture since they are flattened, there is also more chance of discoloration during the drying process. They still look great and it's a beautiful presentation.
The second method that I offer is a deep block presentation. For this method I dry the flowers in their original 3-dimensional shape without pressing them.
This allows me to keep the flowers intact maintaining their quality and texture. These pieces cost a little bit more for the materials, but the result is a true showstopper. These finished pieces are typically between 2"-3" thick.
